Great stay
Best Western Plus Des Moines West Inn & SuitesStopped on road trip with 2 dogs - very friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly with lots of green space to walk dogs. Looks like they are in process of updating. We stayed in newer room. They didn’t put us in old area because we had dogs. Quiet, not a lot of noise to have dogs barking.

Accept dogs but…
Best Western Plus North Platte Inn & SuitesVery busy spot off highway, not much “green” space to walk dogs. Small green near parking lot were littered with broken glass and trash, gas grills and chairs overturned. Appears to be long-term residence for some hanging out at entry doorways around building, loud throughout evening in hallways keeping dogs on “alarm” most of the night. Would probably would not stay here again, especially with pets.

Smoking room
Best Western Plus Steeplegate InnStopped here with 2 dogs while traveling across country. Staff very friendly, green areas to walk dogs. Breakfast was great. Only complaint is room smelled of cigarette smoke - definitely a smoker resided there for some time. Room was old and needed updating. Fire alarm went off in middle of night but stopped as we were getting ready to evacuate, This put dogs on a bit of edge.

Great location
Hilton Garden Inn Rochester Pittsfordgreat location off highway yet plenty of room to roam. Clean big rooms - very comfortable for all.
