It's very small but is well kept.

This was quite a busy place, hard to find parking though we visited on a holiday weekend (Sunday before Memorial Day). Lots of trails to explore and our pup loved it. Some trails were a bit muddy and slippery, but for the most part very easy to walk on and fairly well marked for a forest preserve. As other reviewers have mentioned: no garbage makes it hard to dispose of poop bags. Bring water for your pup (and you) as there’s nothing on-site to rely on. Would def go again!!

This is not a dog park, this is a fenced in triangle of grass.

This was a really fun off-leash dog park/forest! The first entrance section: there were three little kiddie pools freshly filled for the dogs to explore, a fire pit & cut wood, and over 2+ miles fenced in off-leash forest with paths for our doggies! Toby, the adventure dog, loved running around without a leash. There were metal gates to section off the various wood trails, so your pup can’t get too far away without you (all off-leash).
