The staff were not very dog friendly. The rooms are carpeted. The “grassy area” is next to the road. And the doors are very noisy on the hallway. It used to feel a bit more classy.

Needs upgrading in rooms. Green areas are beautiful; dog area is hot, dry, puncture vines, foxtails. So. It worked for a mid point on our journey. Would book else where if available.

With the addition of the new dog park, this place deserves a top rating. The grounds, restaurant (outdoor tables, dog water, ours came with a sprinkle of blueberries, dog menu, and superb people food), and now the best dog park we have ever seen. Real grass, fresh water fountain dishes at two levels, two huge trees, shade. This is our favorite spot on the route from the PNW to Southern California. Each visit is better than the last.

This is one of those renovated old motor courts. Absolutely charming inside. Hard surface floors. Clean and tidy. Dog areas are small, but convenient. Owner is very responsive. Self check-in process. Close to facilities. We love finding these places.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice restaurant and bar that are dog friendly. Fireplace and jetted tub in room. Easy access to freeway, but set far enough away. Beautiful grounds for dog walks. Big grass area for play.

We stay here often. Service is always great. Kitchen staff is awesome. Never had a bad time. Nice deli across the parking lot. They have outdoor tables so your dog can accompany you.

Really nice older lakefront resort. Wide green space right down to lake. Beautiful rooms overlooking lake.
But the pet-friendly rooms are only in the parking lot section. Poorly maintained. No dog welcome. Lots of rules about where they are not allowed. Pet area is small grass area on the roadside. Very disappointing.

Very quiet. Lots of open space. Plenty of gathering spots to meet other guests and pups. Loved the decor. Fully remote check in and out was very efficient. We will be looking for reasons to stay here again.
