perfect place to stop

We love shopping Well Bred for treats, food and more. Great place to visit, huge parking lot so there is always parking, and a bench to sit on just outside the store. Customer Service is great and they take the time to talk about nutrition and what’s best for your pet

Great Location

Hacklebarney State Park

dogs permitted ON LEASH, please bring bags to collect and carry out dog waste and all food (there are no trash cans). The trails can get busy, and one of the trails along the river is very rocky with uneven ground and tree roots, but the rest of the trails are shaded, and decently wide. The parking lot is large, mostly unshaded and hot asphalt - just be aware when bringing dogs. Outhouses available in the parking lot but other restrooms are far and few (if they are working)
