There is a well constructed covered overlook that gives you a nice view of the park. The trail has markers every half mile of the over 17 mile hardened trail. Not too much traffic with only a few bikes and hikers. This was a great place to walk your dog.

Clean and up to date. Staff was helpful and friendly. I haven’t been to a Red Roof in years and we were very surprised on how nice this place was. No extra dog fee and the price was very reasonable. You can not go wrong staying here.
