Cannot wait to come back!

We had a fantastic experience at Shoreline Inn on the beach. Some places say they are “dog friendly” and that really just means your dog can stay at the place- not the Shoreline! When we arrived there was a dog bowl waiting for our dog in our room. Since we are walking distance to the beach here they also had a towel ready in the room for after you and your pup return. There were two very large “potty” areas for dogs with bag dispensers as well. For the humans our room was very clean and had cute decor. The bathroom and shower were very nice and seemed newly updated. We got to stay in room 111 which had a perfect view of Morro Rock. We could also hear the waves from our room. In the lobby there was coffee and hot water for tea and hot cocoa which my daughter loved. In the afternoons they put out cookies as well. Seriously counting down the days until we can stay here again.

Excellent Burgers and Great View

House of JuJu

The burgers were amazing and so was the view. Great beer selection too. They offered to make our dog a burger patty but he had already had his dinner so we declined. Service was fantastic as well. Would definitely come back here when we visit again.

Delicious food and nice people

SLO Provisions

We were on our way to Monterey but needed to stop for lunch. We wanted something kind of quick to eat but NOT fast food. This place was perfect. They had a lunch menu and grab and go options. We all ordered sandwiches and ended up swapping halves with each other. We still can’t decide which was our favorite because they were all so good! They also had a bakery in one half of the place as well as some small items for sale. We believe it may have been the owner of SLO Provisions who came out to meet our dog Rhodey and chat with us. We may be stopping here again on our road trip home just to have more of the great food!

Great Patio and a dog menu!

Kona Steak and Seafood

We stopped here on our way back from Carmel Beach and so glad we did! The service was on point, all of the servers were so friendly and always were checking in to see if we needed anything. We dined on a weeknight and had the beautiful patio to ourselves. The inside had a great atmosphere too. The food was delicious and they even had a dog menu. Our dog was very hungry after the beach but we had planned to feed him as soon as we got back to our place. We were pleasantly surprised when they brought out a dog menu! The only thing that would have made this better was if any of us had any room left to order one of their delicious looking desserts! The apps/dinners were so good we just couldn’t eat another bite. Pro tip: save room for dessert.

Fun place!

OstrichLand USA

Very dog friendly! Our whole family enjoyed this stop at the Ostrich farm. The owners were very welcoming to us and our dog. We even met the farm cat, Piper.

Decent dog park, would visit again

El Chorro Dog Park

We arrived to this dog park on a Tuesday and afternoon and had it all to ourselves! It was very clean and shady. Gave 4/5 bones because it was wood chips only, but that didn’t stop us from having a great time! As we were leaving 3-4 dogs were arriving. They were all very nice well behaved pups, if we had time would have stayed to play.

Vinland Hotel and Lounge

The Vinland Hotel and Lounge was perfect for our family of 4 and our dog Rhodey. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Rhodey received treats at the front desk which he loved! The lounge had two happy hours. We made it for the late night happy hour and was excited to learn that dogs could be in the lounge.
