Holler Woof!

Dan Diegos Euro Cafe and Pub

Meli and I just moved to San Diego and we are about a couple blocks from Dan Diego’s. It is a nice enclosed and chill atmosphere and has that “tucked away” feeling. They had water and home made doggie treats for Meli and they have great food and specialties for me and the two legged creatures! I would definitely recommend being here if you and your pet are shy like we are. I think this is going be our go to spot!

Best Way To Top Off Surfing

2nd Floor

Came down to dog beach and decided to check out this place. It was great! Staff was very friendly. Dogs sit outside with owners. Need to be on leash at all times and on the ground. They have a doggy menu and complimentary water for the fur babies. It is small out there and my dog is a larger dog so it was hard when she wanted to move around and change the spot she was laying in without being in the walk way. Also if other dogs are easily excitable there is not a ton a space to spread and separate them, but we didn’t have any issues with other fur friends when we were there. Also because it is outside, people may be smoking and again small space so just keep that in mind. They have veggies options for the humans! Overall great place!

Definitely Coming Back

Sycamore Canyon Park

I definitely like this spot because you can essentially map your own route around for different hikes. Really easy to get to and the spot and parking is free. There is not a ton of shade so wear hat and sunscreen and bring lots of water. There is a fountain at the beginning of the hike, but still good to carry some on the trail. It was hard with the overgrowth due to lots of rain this year so some parts I had to temporarily let my dog off the leash to not get tangled in the brush. Also there are some steep dips where I let her run separate from me so that neither one of us tripped and got scrapes. Most of the main trails are wide enough for side by side walking, the bike paths are definitely single file. I came on a weekday so I barely saw 5-6 people on the different trails. But I’m sure the weekends could get crowded. I definitely want to explore more off shoot trails so I would totally come back 😁
