I called today to double check and they said no. No dogs

We visited today while in the area with our boxer. We called ahead to verify that dogs were allowed. Our server brought Knox a bowl of water upon request and he enjoyed laying in the sun while we ate. We both hit the steak and shrimp dinner with steamed mixed vegetables The food was really good. The steak was thin but looked just like the menu photo. The flavors were good and price for what we got was acceptable. Our only negative was seeing a fee added to our bill if paying by credit card. Thankfully we had cash. We would return again- bringing cash.

This restaurant is super dog friendly even offering a dog menu. The prices for both humans and canines are a bit high but the food (human, we didn’t order from the canine menu) was fresh and delicious. The lake view is beautiful and the weather was perfect for an outside meal.

we were visiting Cherokee with our boxer, Knox. we checked here before arriving in town to see our options. according to the app table service options are limited.
this location does have a nice outdoor patio that is covered. they did bring water for Knox right away- which he spilled… that’s his M.O. we ordered two drinks-
a Bloody Mary and a margarita. both drinks were $13. I don’t mind paying what I feel is top dollar for a hand crafted drink. but the menu stated that both drinks used a mix… the drinks tasted good and were well balanced but way over priced.
we also ordered the pork skins with pimento cheese. $9. the serving size was ample for an app. the price again, way more than we’re used to paying for fresh pork skins. they were crisp and fresh. the quality was good. the price was too high.
we shared a country fried steak meal that came with mashed potatoes and corn. $19. large portion, good flavor and quality. still- overpriced. very much like Cracker Barrel in flavor and size but more expensive.
overall it was a pleasant meal, we had no complaints except the price us inflated for what is received- although what we received was very good…
if we were in the area again, would we return to this place? probably not…

the fried chicken and sides were great. the patio/deck is dog friendly. they brought him a bowl of water too. great spot for folks with dogs.
