Nice patio, dog friendly, expensive
Native Brews Tap & Grillwe were visiting Cherokee with our boxer, Knox. we checked here before arriving in town to see our options. according to the app table service options are limited.
this location does have a nice outdoor patio that is covered. they did bring water for Knox right away- which he spilled… that’s his M.O. we ordered two drinks-
a Bloody Mary and a margarita. both drinks were $13. I don’t mind paying what I feel is top dollar for a hand crafted drink. but the menu stated that both drinks used a mix… the drinks tasted good and were well balanced but way over priced.
we also ordered the pork skins with pimento cheese. $9. the serving size was ample for an app. the price again, way more than we’re used to paying for fresh pork skins. they were crisp and fresh. the quality was good. the price was too high.
we shared a country fried steak meal that came with mashed potatoes and corn. $19. large portion, good flavor and quality. still- overpriced. very much like Cracker Barrel in flavor and size but more expensive.
overall it was a pleasant meal, we had no complaints except the price us inflated for what is received- although what we received was very good…
if we were in the area again, would we return to this place? probably not…

Great location great food!
Champy’sthe fried chicken and sides were great. the patio/deck is dog friendly. they brought him a bowl of water too. great spot for folks with dogs.
