Nice off leash park

Found this park after a long drive and was killing time prior to our air bnb check in. It is a large fenced in area across from a fire house. Has a covered picnic area in the center. There was no other dogs there so our 2 enjoyed some much needed stretching, running and fetching time. It was pretty clean except for cigarette butt's and two piles of dog poop so no complaints. Dogs enjoyed their freedom. There is a water spigot with fresh water. Our dogs seemed to like the water. Bring a bowl just in case. The dog waste supplies were fully stocked and trash receptacles were empty.

Great experience

Arrived around 6pm was greeted by a very kind and friendly hotel employee who shared that they upgraded our room to a suite. It was a nice surprise. We had 2 dogs with us and their 2 crates so that room fit us perfectly. Room was clean and close to the exit so it made taking the dogs out easy easy. The pool area was nice water was clean. Towels were very small in the pool area. The outside dog potty area was small and some people obviously did not care about cleaning up after their dogs. The hotel is close to the highway so if your dog is easily distracted by or afraid of traffic sounds while outside this is not the place to stay. Our pups enjoyed the room and so did we. Will stay again.

Great place and nice space

Check-in was easy, received a different room that originally booked because the air-conditioning broke in the original room. Not a bad replacement as the room was clean, view was spectacular, and dogs had enough space to feel at home. We ate at the Blue Cat Lounge on premises one night and enjoyed their pizza along with a few drinks. The dogs had plenty of areas to relieve themselves and the spaces were clean, free from other dogs messes. The boat ramp and small beach areas provided some water fun for our one dog who likes to splash and lay in shallow waters. Our older dog had to get used to the inclines on the walking paths but enjoyed the time on the outside deck of our room. The people were very friendly and we enjoyed our stay. Know that the place is not ADA compliant as there are steep hills and steps, but this is called out on their website so no surprise for us. It is more of a rustic stay but was enjoyable.
