We were at the Milton Dog park, about a mile away, and gave the folks at Locust Grove a call to see if we could bring our pooch. The response was...we love dogs and they are allowed inside and out. Had some nice ciders and beers while there and enjoyed one of their many rotating food trucks. A great stop.

This is a nice large park with water, shade and grass. Two areas for small and large dogs. Worth the stop

We were in the area for several days and found this park. Nice shady spots, grass and ample water. We were unable to try the splash pad but our dog is not so fond of water. Only complaint is that owners did not pick up after their pooches. Each day we went I filled up 5 bags as my out-of-towner self-payment.

We went there several times while we were in the area RVing. Place is super clean. Met some nice dogs and owners. A bit sunny for the larger dogs but they don't seem to mind.

Was passing through and needed lunch. Good food and reasonable prices

Not your average dog park. The fenced in area is huge and allows dogs to run around and not be crowding by the entrance gate like many other parks

We stopped by for a few minutes and was impressed with the play area for the dogs. Pretty much grass everywhere and some big stones for them to jump on. Would stop by again.

You can easily spend 1 1/2 hours here. You will find some folks walking their dogs off-leash. We haven't had a problem with them. You can easily not run into anyone the whole time, or, people every 10 minutes.

We went in the early fall and had a great walk down to the beach and through the woods. It is a nice area and will certainly go back.

You can do the whole park in 15 minutes. Lots of geese and ducks so if your dog is reactive to this things it may not be a good place.

A large field to walk on down to the water. Some short trails around as well. If you are not doing any off-leash training, estimate a 45 minute stay.
