We were placed in a room on the ground floor in a primary thoroughfare near the lobby. While this could have been viewed as convenient, it was ultimately not a great location for us. Noisy guests returning throughout the night and early morning hours made this a less than restful experience.

The room was clean and quiet with good outdoor space, free parking, and a basic breakfast. We appreciated that the property was dog friendly and in a convenient location for continuing our trip by car.

We appreciated this large, dog-friendly room with safe, easy, well-lit walking access (10 minutes) into the center of Bar Harbor. It was great not to have to get back in the car and then pay to park! It was also perfect for accessing Acadia National Park; the visitor center was just a short drive away as were the Island Explorer buses if one wished to access from Bar Harbor Village Green instead. The complimentary snacks in the lobby were a bonus. Would definitely recommend for those traveling with a dog and wanting a no-frills but clean, comfortable experience.

This is a busy hotel right on the interstate and with several other hotel properties nearby. A police car makes a circuit through the parking lots, which provided an added sense of security. The property was well-lit, and the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. There are plenty of adjacent grassy areas for walking your leashed pet. Price and location were on the mark for us needing to have easy access into NYC the next morning.

Clean, quiet, spacious, easy access to large, grassy pet relief area. Close to area attractions. Breakfast included. Even provided a souvenir water bowl and two biscuits upon check-in.

Chill atmosphere. We visited with three dogs. Staff couldn't have been nicer, beer was solid (tried the Kolsch, IPA, and Stout). The dogs appreciated the air conditioned taproom on a hot day after hiking in Shenandoah. We're not local but would definitely return.
