Bentley-beagle mix rescue. Born Feb 2024.

This is a totally fenced in adventure. Multiple trails lead through different vegetation to a field where dogs can play. Poop bags, water bowls with hose for cleaning paws are all available. Best park we have ever been to.

Love the trails but $10 weekday $20 weekday for non-residence and half that for residence is not worth it. No water fountains available and bathrooms kind of disgusting. So disappointed. This used to be my 7 to 10 mile hiking spot. Not sure if I will come back.

Very well maintained three separate areas based on size. Ample shade and huts, water fountains and hoses for dogs. The owners here are friendly and involved so we have never had a problem here. Although there are almost always multiple dogs here, and at times 10 to 20 dogs, it still seems super roomy, Clean restroom facilities, right next-door.

We saw this on BringFido and did not see any reviews which is usually a bad thing. We were on a road trip and so we only had less than an hour. I will post pictures, but they are not the most scenic ones; use the website for that. The visitor center is lovely with very friendly rangers and excellent bathroom facilities. They are installing a water cooler, so make sure to bring your own if you go in the next couple of months. We were in a rush so we only went about 1 mile in and back on the green trail, which is about 2/3 sunny and 1/3 shade. Really lovely with sand and Pineneedle ground cover. Our beagle mix loved all the smells. We wish we lived closer to explore more and to see the manatee observation but we will definitely stop here on our next road trip.

Permit is required (obtain with annual beach parking permit). Open Friday, Sat and Sunday 7-9 am and 3:00 or 5:00 until sunset, depending on the season.
Located between lifeguard stations 18 and 20, bring your pup, toys, water and beach chair for a simply wonderful time. Oceanside means plenty of breezes to keep pups cool, and whether your dog loves, or avoids, water, they will have a wonderful time running and playing. The owners are watchful, respectful and fun to talk to. On your way back to your car there is a dog wash station.

This is great dog park; well worth the $25 annual fee for a pass. Entrance is electronic key card with pass. It is almost all grass with trees and benches and water spout play areas in each of the two sections, divided into pups <35 lbs or 35 lbs and up. Poop bags, trash receptacles, water fountains for humans and pups, and dog shower station in each section. Small dog section also has agility training obstacles. Very well maintained, nice dogs and owners who watch and participate. Clean restrooms right outside dog park.
No park entry fee on weekdays but $3 on weekends as the general park is large with paved walkways, picnic areas, etc.

Grass covered dog park divided by dog size/weight. We have been there several times and all of the owners are involved. Dogs are very well-behaved. Multiple hunts for shade and keeping out of the rain. Dog fountain. Porta potty functions as restroom. Permit is required to park, and this is included in the annual resident beach parking sticker.
Lovely well groomed dog park with grass and tree bark. Hiys and benches, dog water fountain with bowl, dog washing station. Most of the people are super nice and concentrating on their dog. White pit bull with tan left ear was in large dog section. Alone. With owner on other side looking at phone. That dog snarled and snapped so we went to small dog side, which had lots of medium/large dogs, some of whom had same experience or actual bite.
That was the only negative. There are large, immaculately clean restrooms right outside of the dog park. We also left the leash free area and walked along the lake, it was beautiful.
We went mid afternoon on a Wednesday so only 2-5 dogs there. The surface is firm sand with some large rocks, agility stations, multiple benches in sun and shade. Hose for play pools, water fountain for dog and human, and porta potty in parking lot. Right near trails. Dog owners nice, and dogs well behaved. Whole area was super clean and well maintained.

Our favorite off leash park!! Well maintained with big bottles of water, obstacles, two wooded trails. Owners nice and welcoming. As with any busy dog park, observe from your car to make sure owners are following the rules and staying with their dogs……rather than staring at their phones. The vast majority of owners are very responsible.

From paved areas to rustic trails for horse-watchers and “dog beach” along picturesque curving creek, this is always fun with varied paths depending on your mood!!

Small, paved but grassy area as well and beautiful trails you can take on leash. Pavement may be a turnoff to people but dogs could care less and good for filing down those nails!!

Beautiful park. You can choose to walk on road or trails!! Staying on yellow, orange and green trails means no bear or coyote sightings, and few areas for pup to “swim” in crystal clear water. Always a great visit. Oh, and the rangers are all delightful, even putting out fresh water when they see dogs arriving in the summer.
