There are spot a pots directly across the road as well as a second parking lot at the fishing area. Best to go early or late in the day or go in the spring or fall and you will never have parking problems. Also, Reed there is no trans facilities but that’s not true either as there’s a dumpster in the parking lot. and yes, the breakers are not big there, but there are breakers as it’s right at the inlet where the ocean and the bay meet and the dogs who like to swim frolic in the water. We have been there dozens of time and never had a bad experience with dogs or the people. And of course, if you park along the road where it says no parking, you may get a ticket so don’t park there.
