We stayed at this Red Roof Plus on our way through Columbus Ohio. Compared to other hotels in the area this property was economical with a comfortable room and very friendly front desk staff. There is no additional fee for a pet. There is a strip of grass between properties that is well used. People should be more considerate and clean up after their dogs, but as that strip is shared between two hotel properties, I’m not blaming the Red Roof. I probably wouldn’t want to stay here for a long vacation, but for an overnight stop it worked out great.

This was a great dog park to visit. Decent amount of space with two areas for different size dogs. Lots of trees for shade, some obstacles, and several tennis balls to toss and chase. The dog park is located inside a very large community park that has a small lake and trails to hike. Dogs must be on a leash outside the dog park.

This is an awesome place with great food and a super friendly staff. Very big dog friendly outside deck. We loved it.

We enjoyed the hiking trails.
Most of the reviews on this dog park were posted over a decade ago. Our experience in early 2025 is that this muddy, torn up field without any grass or shade isn’t very good at all. It is a space where your dog can be off leash, but that’s about it.

For us, this property was everything we needed for an overnight stay with our Aussie-Doodle. The night we stayed the property was undergoing several upgrades so there was construction material around. The front desk staff was very accommodating, engaging and friendly. They even had dog treats behind the counter to share. The room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our travel dog crate. There is a small, but nice dog run behind the property with poop disposal bags. Overall, we would stay here again when traveling in the area.
