Very welcoming!
Aloft Louisville DowntownThe room was great, food and drinks from WXYZ bar were great and many of those staying over the Christmas holiday had a dog or two with them and the staff was welcoming of our companions and us.
We’ve stayed twice now (back in October too) and both times staff was friendly, accommodating, and we resided on the second floor (quicker access to go outside) both times. Only concrete and mulch on the property but grass across the street at White Castle and a block away on the other side of the Humana building, but watch your step as many pet parents don’t clean up after their dogs. Joes Crab Shack is about 3 blocks walk on the riverfront with outdoor seating (even in December when it’s 72 degrees). The lobby of Aloft has pool tables, several areas to lounge, read, surf or visit and dog were permitted in them(as long as we were responsible). We would stay again while traveling the Bourbon Trail!

Great eats and nice location
Paper Station BistroSorry to read the other review that didn’t get in. I stopped in today, was promptly seated and enjoyed the sliders and onion rings along with a glass of wine. They have three tables outside that accommodate dogs. They were friendly, service was prompt and gave good recommendations. I want to stop back again for the signature Mary’s lobster rolls!

Good location, ok room
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Athens an IHG HotelLocation was great with Applebee’s and CVS just next door yet the room and bathroom were dimly lit and with all concrete walls and ceiling and little sound dampening it had lots of echo’s. Nice pool, good breakfast, good workout center and friendly staff helped to make up for the noise.

I Enjoyed Our Stay!
Sheraton Erie Bayfront HotelI’ve stayed here three times now and even during the pandemic they made us feel welcome! we brought our 30 lb dog along and the staff was very friendly as well as the other guests. The welcome the various animal companions. The hotel is ideally situated on the pier and we were able to see several car shows as well as great people watching during the evenings. Although one of the other reviewers had some negative comments, I don’t feel that reflective of the hotel during my stays. Granted there is always room for improvement or for a touch up here or there but it’s a great place to stay, well maintained, and to enjoy the lake, sunsets, and walks along the pier. I’d suggest requesting a lake view room no matter what the season. There’s always something going on at this destination location. We will be back!!

Good location
Evergreen ResortOur plans changed and I arrived without our dog and was put in a pet friendly room. It’s a nice resort with pool, workout area, free breakfast as well as an attached restaurant and bar. The pet friendly rooms haven’t been renovated and are showing some signs of wear but were still nice. They were on the lower level and away from Much of the noise that might have them bark. I would stay again!
Hopefully next time with our dog!
