Stopped by the park today for a quick visit. I read through some of the other reviews and just want to say as of 08/15/25 the grass is green and full. I appreciate all of the informational signage and since it is a PETA park it’s fitting to have it there. The view of the water is amazing, and that alone is worth a visit. This is my second time here and last time was much more crowded. Today at 1 pm there were only 2 other dogs there and I would say more fun than last time. I definitely recommend this park but would suggest going at times less crowded.

I saw this laundromat on BringFido and decided to check it out. We washed Vinny’s many dog blankets and were happy with the results. Clean machines, fair prices, all different size washers to choose from, plenty of parking , and there was an attendant on site. Vinny was the only dog there and he enjoyed sitting in the booth. We will be back next time we need to wash his bedding.

We stayed at the Roswell Inn for 3 nights for the UFO festival. The place was very clean. I saw people cleaning throughout the day including someone even blowing the walkways. Front desk staff and cleaning staff were all very friendly. I liked being able to park right outside the room it felt more like a little cabin than a hotel room. The room itself is clean. The floor is tile which comes in handy for the dogs. Air conditioning worked great and the fridge was big and clean. The only negative things are the parking lot has a lot of potholes and there is no designated dog potty area.

So they don’t charge a pet fee which is great, and the front desk staff are really friendly. The location is close to the freeway and a McDonald’s. That’s all the positive things I can say about this hotel. The room itself is old and dingy with crooked flooring and dirt all over the door (inside & out). Luckily I had some wipes with me and cleaned the fingerprints off the inside of the door and the sticky door handle. The bathtub was gross. The room had a strange smell. Basically the whole room is gross. Also, sketchy people staying there so make sure to lock your car.
