We loved this marshy/bike walking trail location. You have to share the small stone/gravel path with walkers, bikers including some e-bikes but everyone was considerate and made room as we all took in the views of the white cranes, green marshlands and a section thru some woods. A really great area to take a walk with the dogs. We walked 2.5 miles and the dogs were nice and tired! Note there are no restroom facilities here.

I’ve read the other reviews and I can’t comment on dog interactions since we didn’t see any other dogs in the fenced run. I read reviews and rely on the info reported. Sharon was perfect for us. There is a short wooded trail just outside the fenced dog run. We enjoyed taking a break from

our road trip and walked the trail loop. Lots of friendly people on the trail. Didn’t see any dogs. They had exercise stations along this trail - push up bars, uneven bars, etc it was fun to see if we could do any of them. Which I couldn’t! I would go back if we pass this way again.

Our first time in Maine. We found a very dog friendly location near all the beautiful beaches etc. I should have looked at the photos a bit more closely. I figured we could stay in the king size bed cabin. But it was sooo small, no closets and really tight to move around in. They had larger cottages. I should have booked one. After seeing all the people with dogs staying in this location, in the bigger cottages I figured it was a good spot for the night.

Enclosed dog park for big and little dogs. Water fountain, doggie bags, shaded areas with trees and open spaces for the dogs. Shaded Benches and friendly people and dogs!

We did not make a reservation in advance. I called BringFido by mistake when I thought I was calling the hotel to check on availability for same day stay. The person from BringFido was super helpful and called the hotel for me. Thank you!

The hotel person was friendly at check in. She provided me with a list of nearby restaurants. I wasn’t sure at first because this hotel did not have a microwave in the room but they had a guest microwave in their snack area with a freezer case of frozen food options for purchase along with snacks etc. It all worked out fine. Our room was on the first floor corridor with direct access to the relief area.

The room was super clean, beds were comfy. This hotel is tucked away behind a car dealership but just follow the signs. It is convenient to the highway which is what we needed to get back on the road the next day. We stayed on the opposite side of the highway. It was quiet.

There are good local restaurants nearby for takeout. Pet relief area was small but the area around the hotel is roomy enough for our 2 dogs to do their thing. Mature trees line the quiet street to the hotel which is the back side to the car dealership. A good night's sleep for all of us!

Love this place. Outdoor tables/umbrellas for the dog families. Outdoor fire pits too with Adirondack chairs. Great haddock sandwiches, fries, salads and of course beer! I would take a blanket to place over the chunky gravel for your dog. Our 2 dogs probably didn’t mind but I felt bad! Lots of friendly people too.

Hampton Inn is our go-to hotel with our 2 pups. We are never disappointed to be honest (if the budget allows).This one was clean and comfy. Coffee is always available! The dog relief area was smallish but the surrounding area was good. There is an old cemetery next door (which we did not go into per the signs) but was interesting to see from a distance and the short path along the stone wall was lined with mature trees that our dogs liked. Just enough for the dogs to do their business. All in all a great place for an overnighter in Mystic!

The website for Stuckey's looked really cool. I added it as a stop option on our travels. I was hoping for that old-timey feel. The store and gas station are still open, but it doesn't say Stuckey's anymore - although you can still see where the sign was on the building. BUT the dog park is still there with a huge Stuckey's sign on display. The fenced yard was a perfect short break for our dogs. We bought the famous Stuckey pecans which were yummy. They are still producing a great pecan treat, but I am not sure of the stores. This one hadn't changed much since the 1970s? Lots of Stuckey's sock souvenirs and a huge assortment of pecans for sale as well as sodas, snacks etc.. If you are in the area and need a pecan treat and a dog stop try it. They provided waste bags and receptacles. It seemed pretty clean. Cleanliness is up to the dog owners. Some owners are better than others...not the parks issue. This one was pretty good. It was a rainy day but this stop was ok for for us. A bit of a time capsule.

We visited this park 2 times - what a fantastic park. Clean restrooms, walking paths and leash free areas: one for small dogs and one for large dogs. We have 2 dogs and they loved it. It had shade covered seating for us and water bowls. They provide waste bags and receptacles. There is close access to water fountain and cute paw print benches along the walking path. There is also a huge open field at the back of the park which is not 100% fenced in near to a creek. A number of dogs were in that area. We have one that sticks to us and one that ventures off to explore so we didn't try that area. It was a really nice stop for us on our travels.
