Wag! A Unique Pet BoutiqueSo many unique items for your pet and for your life with a pet along with a great selection of food items and treats for dogs of all sizes and ages. If you need it they have it and if you didn’t know you needed it they’ll have it! Highly recommend.
Wonderful food!
Ward's GrillOur dog was welcomed inside this lovely old-fashioned grill/diner which is adjacent to Thompson Grocers, the oldest grocery store in NC. My husband had the 50/50 burger, 50% beef and 50% house made sausage. He proclaimed it the best burger he’s had in over fifty years. I had the club sandwich with fried okra as a side and the portions were so generous I took half of both home. Service was excellent- friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
Great food! Dogs welcome!
The Baker's BoxI convinced my husband to order a salad instead of his usual burger and fries and he was delighted! Our salads were freshly made and contained generous amounts of grilled chicken along with romaine, walnuts, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese, and more all chopped into nice easy to eat bite sized pieces. Very filling- true dinner salads at a very affordable price. And our dog was loved on and petted by several staff members who also offered him treats. Highly recommend.
Great atmosphere/Amazing food
Wildflour BakeryWe enjoyed brunch at Wildflour accompanied by our dog, Sam. Unfortunately I didn’t think to take a photo. Wildflour is small but has about 8 tables under shelter along their front porch/sidewalk. Not at all crowded and our dog was welcome. We both had brunch specials and my husband had a slice, a very generous slice, of pineapple upside down cake. We cleaned our plates. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend.
Lovely winery
Paws for a Purpose at Souther Williams VineyardLovely live music, excellent wine, a charcuterie board, beautiful weather, and our dog napping contentedly at our feet: perfect Spring afternoon.
Awesome!
Shipwrecks Taphouse & GrillGreat food, relaxing atmosphere, and very dog friendly. Our server went out of her way to make sure our Sam had a water bowl big enough and that he was comfortable. He greatly enjoyed his burger and veggies- and a few of my fries! They have an impressive selection of beers on tap from micro breweries and the food was excellent. I even bought a hoodie!
Nice outdoor tables
Jimmy's Famous Hot DogsClean, fast food. Extensive menu with items you won’t find at regular fast food restaurants at about the same price. Two wooden picnic tables and two concrete tables with umbrellas where you can relax and eat with your dog.
Lovely lunch
Stone SoupWe stopped here for lunch where we could sit outside with our dog. Our server, Millie, brought our dog water when she brought ours. In addition to the covered patio area there is a dog park adjacent to the restaurant and sheltered picnic tables. The food and drinks were fantastic and the service excellent. Highly recommend.
Lovely, relaxing, and beautiful
Bullington GardensWe came for the Fairy Trail, but these gardens are a treasure that should be enjoyed in every season. Dogs are welcome and they even provide water beside the gift shop. Plenty of shade and benches, so it’s a great place for a relaxing afternoon stroll for any age or ability.
Watermelons, tomatoes, peaches, honey, trout-fresh or smoked…
K. Johnson Family FarmMake time to go to this lovely family run farm store. You and your dog will be greeted by the resident dog, Abby, and her friendly owners. Take your time selecting the freshest corn, tomatoes, peaches, etc and don’t forget to order a hand dipped milkshake to take with you. The calories are worth it.
Wonderful meal, great drinks, relaxing ambiance.
Huckleberry'sWe definitely enjoyed our dinner at Huckleberry’s. Our server, Shannon, brought our dog, Samson, a bowl of water when she brought our water and menus. She brought him small treats three times! Our meal was excellent— trout for hubby and salmon for me. Highly recommend.
Wonderful wines, views, ambiance
Saint Paul Mountain FarmsWe had a great experience with our dog on a lovely June afternoon. KerriAnn gave us amazing service and was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and the vineyard. Highly recommend.
Clean, quiet, basic accommodations
La Quinta by Wyndham Winston-SalemWe needed a place at short notice because of a plumbing disaster at our home. BringFido offered several good suggestions and we chose La Quinta as it was economical and close to our home. This is an older hotel and is showing signs of wear, but the room was clean and spacious and surprisingly quiet as we were next to a very busy road. The ‘breakfast’ is little more than a snack— all individually packaged foods such as muffins, fruit cocktail, and yogurt- but the coffee is hot and plentiful. The staff were all friendly and quite helpful. If you are looking for a clean, reasonably priced, convenient location in Winston-Salem that will welcome your furbaby at no extra charge this is the place.
