We and our two dogs stopped here overnight while travelling the Blue Ridge Parkway. The restoration of this motor lodge is perfect. The bed was comfy and there were little thoughtful details in the room like bottled water and a towel in case we had muddy feet. The facility is dog friendly, we were greeted with gourmet treats for the dogs, and they came home wearing bandanas. We walked the dogs on the grassy area, which is on a slope, but it was clean. There is a wonderful restaurant attached to the lodge, and the food was so good! The dogs sat with us on the outside patio, and there are heaters and a fire pit if it gets cold. We will definitely be back, when we finish the BRP!

This hotel is pet and owner friendly! We asked for a floor room and got it. Omega, the desk clerk couldn't have been nicer! There is ample area to walk the pups which was clean and the trash emptied. The morning breakfast was hot and plentiful. The facilities were clean, well kept and everyone was super nice. The fee for the dogs was one of the best we have found.

This is a great Comfort Inn, very pet friendly, facilities were clean and up to date. Breakfast was delicious, and they had desk staff, cookies and coffee, etc. 24 hours.

The hotel was a place to sleep. Pros: convenient parking, lots of pup walk areas. Lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was okay. Cons: noisy hallways, which kept the dogs up. Carpets were dirty.
