Worth The Bones!

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tyler - University Area

This hotel might be a little pricer then other pet friendly hotels in Tyler, but it’s worth every cent! The hotel is so clean and smells so fresh. I couldn’t even tell I had pups in the room. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They all loved my dogs and wanted to pet them. My dogs were so relaxed compared to other hotels in Tyler we stayed at. The potty areas are close and convenient even providing you with poop bags. This will be my new home away from home hotel.

Dirty Dog

La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Tyler

After checking in, I left 1 hr later. The room was filthy with thick black grease stains. A huge gap was in the doorframe letting in all sorts of bugs and humidity. The room was filled with mosquitoes (thank goodness my pups are on trifexis). I received several mosquito bites on my arms killing the pests as I frantically called another hotel for a room. Thick grey granular debris was under the mattress and the pillows were stained yellow. My dogs were visibly upset at the smells and how moist and humid the room was. I usually love la quintas- not this one. By the way it also is an extended stay hotel. Broken bottles and cigarette butts await your pups feet. Go to the other la Quinta in the loop 2550. Oh and yes, I had to pay 60$ for that one filthy hour.
