Ok but overpriced
Baymont by Wyndham RoswellMost expensive base price and dog fees of our vacation. Large room/suite with separate bedroom, but, several things were lacking. Bathroom clean except for black hair on floor from previous guest. No paper towels in kitchen. Badly stained carpet in bedroom. TV was not working well—had to press TV to change volume or channel. Guide wasn’t working. Worn and chipped furniture. Stained fabric on kitchen chair. Lamp on left night table, facing bed, had nowhere to plug it in. Very lumpy pillows.
Breakfast was adequate, pretty standard. Staff was pleasant. Nice Dove soap products. They didn’t charge me the $50(!) pet fee after they found that the person who checked me in didn’t charge me. That was very gracious of them I thought. Overall, ok, but, still overpriced for what we got. Clean enough, though, and that’s what is most important to me.

Loving, yet limited
Loews Hollywood HotelHotel was very generous with gifts and very welcoming. Limited places to walk dog. Had to go across the street, where, sometimes, homeless people were congregating. Resort fee included premium WiFi, which we could not access. Front desk took off one charge at checkout. Parking=$60/24h in and out or $20 each time you parked in garage next door. Disappointed that one was not allowed to borrow a cart and bring one’s stuff up to one’s room oneself, upon arrival or upon checkout. Only one bellhop working on morning we left, delaying our departure significantly. Overall, very nice stay, though not inexpensive, and especially, convenient as easy walk to the Hollywood Bowl for concert.

Great place!
Rio del Sol Inn NeedlesGreat experience. Martin at check-in was wonderful. Accommodated us with our dog ($15 only!) and offered to place us in an accessible room (only available) on first floor. Furniture was a bit worn, but bed and bathroom very clean, except for the appearance of the shower floor. Likely just discoloration -- was not dirty or sticky once in shower. Shower head was low; would have chosen the second floor regular room. Direct TV worked well, AC worked well (over 100 degrees when we came in at 9pm) and enjoyed 10% discount at Wagon Wheel Restaurant where dog was able to stay inside. Dog relief area still in progress but cleared area behind dumpsters was ok. Went to Spike’s Dog Park by 9am, but already too hot to play. Great stay in Needles!

Incredibly accomodating
Angelle'sWelcomed warmly with our German Shepherd onto the patio with less than an hour until closing. Water bowl provided. Lovely waitresses (switched the TV channel for us) and though few vegetarian options, found a vegetarian past Alfredo dish that was just right. Reasonably priced and even had Diet Dr. Pepper, which I had craved all the way down from NYC. This was recommended by the receptionist at the Avid Hotel where we were staying. Show your entry card and get 10% off your meal. A winner all around. Highly recommend.

Mediocre at best
La Quinta by Wyndham Las Vegas Summerlin TechNo lock on back door. Hallway carpets really stained. Actual room quite clean with good shower, but, rundown, rusty under sink, and walls with pieces gouged out. Accommodated our German Shepherd without issue. Small grassy areas around hotel; I walked our dog on the pebbly island some distance away. Good breakfast and tea/coffee/water available all the time. Staff adequate. Bed was among the worst in which I have ever slept.

No tables anymore
Togo's Sandwichesjust called to confirm hours and was told that they “took that away” when I asked about outside tables at which to sit with our dog.

Very dog-friendly
Notchtop Bakery & CafeWhen we ate brunch here, on a weekday morning, there were, at least, three other dogs on the deck. Ok food-odd spinach, cheese, and mushroom omelette with sliced Swiss cheese melted on top as an afterthought. Otherwise, nice place, in a shopping center, and NY prices.

Expensive pet fee
Sonesta Select Los Angeles LAX El SegundoNo questions asked re size of dog, given Fido guarantee. Had switched reservation from Expedia to BringFido as the former would not accommodate large dogs. Overall, very pleasant stay, but no grassy areas to walk dog.

Just Fine
Wok 'N Roll Chinese CafeFound this restaurant on Fido.com. Sat outside, and food was brought out to us and cleared for us. The food was fine and the price and portions, just right. They were very accommodating of our dog, and even filled his bowl at a sink in the kitchen (I, later, filled it in the very clean bathroom.) Staff was very pleasant. I would recommend this restaurant.

Clean and spacious and great customer service
Drury Inn & Suites West Des MoinesNo problems whatsoever with this hotel. Great customer service, east traveling with our dog, great breakfast, good place to walk the dog across the street to the back. Extremely pleased with our stay.

Incredibly clean. Just fine for us
Quality Inn Brunswick Cleveland SouthBasic room, low toilet and chair, but, incredibly clean with gracious front-desk staff and very easy place to stay with our German Shepherd, Marty. Thought a little rough around the edges and worn (outlet covers mounted a bit askew, bottom of sliding door to bathroom a bit worn), it was a welcoming place for us and our dog. Breakfast was more than adequate (we took ours back to our room). The only drawback was that the door to the parking lot, closest to us, was broken and the area close to that doorway was strewn with cigarette butts and other garbage. Large grassy area, adjacent to hotel, for Marty to romp in the morning.

No longer In business (zero bones)
The Southern Way CafeTried to find this place. Only an empty building at this address. It’s a shame as there are so few dog-friendly restaurants in Crozet.
