The room was as depicted: spacious and clean, and well designed for doggos. The room has a couch, faux wood floors, and thoughtful storage and features, like a table tray at the couch and plenty of plugs for electronics. The luggage space was handy and made it easy to unpack for a quick overnight. The windows open to let fresh air in as well. Willa didn’t mind taking the elevator up and down to our room and doesn’t have issues making it to the bathroom outside, so being on the third floor wasn’t hard on us, but it may be challenging for others.
There were a couple other folks there with dogs and the staff was neutral about pets. Close to a lot of amenities and nightlife, including Green Jeans, a local indoor/outdoor market with delicious food, locally-made goods, and a brewery upstairs. Be cautious about walks around the neighborhood, as there’s a lot of broken glass on the ground beyond the hotel area.

Willa and I had a lovely and comfortable stay on our road trip and stop at the Grand Canyon. The staff was friendly and supportive of our needs by letting us know where the dog-friendly spaces and relief areas were and how to navigate our stay (I was traveling solo with her) so that I could enjoy various amenities with her. We enjoyed a burger and fries next to the patio fire, which was followed by s’mores and chatting with other hotel guests. The hotel complex is large enough to take a walk around for doggo potty breaks.
The room was wonderful! We had a room with external entry that felt safe and was very convenient for losing and unloading. The rooms are as depicted: clean, funky, and functional. To-go dinner orders need to be placed at the restaurant, and you can take your dog to the restaurant entrance to order and then sit in the lobby or on the patio to wait and then eat. This is a great place to stay if you’re visiting the Grand Canyon with your pooch! This will be our go-to destination next time around!
