I no longer go to dog parks, mainly due to the dog owners.
Belfast was a nice surprise, when the dogs ran up, which they do to greet, but they were kind enough to allow me and my dog into the yard while they held onto their pups.
I was so impressed and grateful - it was a fun visit.
They have water available with a hose, and bowls, lots of poop bags too.
Large area for large and a smaller corridor style for smaller pups.
Usually quiet which I prefer when we go, but last time was after work and it was a fun visit with healthy pup socialization.

Wonderful individual cottages, some with shared tiny porches. Park right out front for east loading/unloading. Extremely clean, small kitchenette with Keurig, bathroom with nice amenities and a wonderful bed that is very comfortable. Keep pet leashes on property and clean up after potty time. TV and free internet. It is a no contact booking. The owner was so nice when I called. Your key will be waiting inside your cabin/cottage. I highly recommend this gem outside of Acadia. Visited in Feb, so it was snowy, looks like they offer outdoor grill and a fire pit.

This is an excellent choice for dog owners. Separate carpeted side entrances to avoid the main lobby.
Huge rooms, and the best is the location. Beautiful grounds, however you can walk right to the fully enclosed 4 acre dog park right from your hotel.
