Lovely views but that’s about it

Stayed here several times always loved it. Went back this Spring with my wounded warrior husband and his service dog Charlotte. After pre-paying nearly $1,500 for their best room we were told they had lost our reservation. Turns out they gave our room to a wedding party. Arriving late in the afternoon they told us they had no rooms, finally hours later put us in a closet on the lower floor for an extra $300. Some of the original staff was still there and were very nice, but desk clerks treated us like garbage; keep in mind we were well dressed and aren’t mean people. The bartender was super nice, but you could see half the staff hated the other half. Needless to say our yearly trip there is no more. The stress literally put my husband back into hospital (shot in head years ago suffering from tumors and TBI). Normally his scars and obvious war injuries have people treating him differently; not that he expects it. PS it was only when I threatened to call media that they miraculously found our room. No thanks
