Large Outdoor Space
Wayside CiderThe staff here is excellent to dogs and the space is great & very welcoming. There are a decent amount of outdoor beer tables to sit at and some with umbrellas. There's also a few tables underneath the barn to sit at. A few water bowls to use for your pup as well. The food here is excellent (all local) along with local organic cider (and other NY Beers/Wines). Highly recommend to relax with your dog after a hike.
Outdoor Space & Great Food
The ProspectThe Prospect is part of Scribner's Lodge (also a Pet Friendly hotel and very pro dog) and across from Hunter Mountain. In the warmer months they have a Food Shack that sells drinks & food, but you can order from the bar. There's outdoor deck seating, lawn seating, firepit seating, etc. They even have dog bandana's colored green or red for friendly/quiet dogs. Food is really a highlight there and great drink selection (a bit of organic Brooklyn restaurant in the Catskills).
Great view & space
Deer Mountain InnDeer Mountain in is a great space in The Catskills with a few outdoor tables and in the winter a fire pit. They also have some Adirondack chairs on the grounds to relax. Only have gotten drinks outside but they are dog friendly and there are numerous hiking trails around the area.
Great service and food
Jagerberg Beer Hall and TavernLocated directly across from Hunter Mountain it’s a great place to take your dog to. Good German beer and food and you’re allowed to sit out front at the covered beer tables. Staff is friendly and love the dogs. They’ll bring a big bowl of water and the outside is quiet for pups.
