A Work In Progress
Clinton Bark ParkStopped by the park while traveling through for Christmas. Park looks fairly new and has a large big dog area. Very nice fencing and water stations. However not much thought was put into the location, because there are serious drainage problems. It is next to the fire station which I guess where all the drainage issues are coming from. It had not rained in several days and the ground was very muddy and had standing water in places. Looks like they are working on the drainage but adding dry creek beds with large rock is a bad way to try to fix it. The rock is now a hazard within the large dog area, creating an area that would be easy for a dog to hurt their leg. The park also only has one bag and waste station for each side.

Great lunch spot
LaLouWe visited here after a fun afternoon at the Pelican Park dog park (highly recommend).
The patio was comfortable and the service was prompt and friendly. Food was great. They did run out of a specific salad I ordered but the manager ran to a local market to get lettuce quickly. It delayed the salsa only by a few minutes. We also ordered one small grilled chicken breast feed to our pup which he enjoyed. Very highly recommended.

Awesome Park
Pelican Bark ParkWe visited here while visiting family for Christmas. Beautiful park, tons of room and amenities for the dogs. He had a great time and we were very impressed when we heard they spray for fleas frequently in the summer.

Poor Everything
Beach HouseWe stopped here for lunch after a visit to a local dog park. We are in town visiting family for Christmas. It had a five bone review. We waited over 20 minutes and even a basic appetizer order of onion rings never came. Our server while nice, did not communicate anything with us in a timely manner. After 20 minutes he finally came over and told us the kitchen was very backed up, which they were. So we got fed up and left. We paid for the drinks. I went to the bar I asked for the manager... only to discover the manager was working behind the bar doing mundane tasks (refilling a honey bottle) when she should’ve been in the kitchen helping out. I’ll never come here again.
