We adopted a skittish girl back in 2014 - she loves other dogs, but is still very timid around people.

Really Cool Place
McDowell Sonoran PreserveA very nice flat trails - enjoyed a nice morning hike before it got too hot
Great spot
Marble BreweryThe brews were good and the staff was great - all came over to pet my dog and comment on how cute she is.
There was water for her, and the heaters on the patio were great as it was chilly night!
Absolutely Serene And Enchanting
Fox Ridge State ParkIt had snowed the night - a dusting was still on the ground making it look even more enchanted.
Cost nothing for a beautiful view and good exercise
Beautiful Springs - Mediocre Trail
Bennett Spring State ParkThe spring is gorgeous and beautiful to admire, it was nice to see everyone fly fishing and spending time with family.
However the trails weren’t especially challenging, nor eye catching. It was a good stop while traveling on i44 and cost nothing to enter the park, exercise our dog and breathe in the fresh air.
Absolutely Gorgeous
Patagonia Lake State ParkWe camped here for the night - the views from the site were amazing. The campsite was
spacious and the bathrooms/showers were so clean!
We went on a few nature walks and encountered cows, javelina, roadrunners and so many other beautiful birds.
Best Unplanned Stop Ever
Cadillac RanchIf you asked me why we decided to stop, couldn’t tell you - but it was worth it!
Calloway Trail
Picacho Peak State ParkWe took this trail because there was an overlook - upon getting to the top the overlook was of the RV Park and the highway. With that said - the hike up was gorgeous!
We were advised it was a moderate hike, but we found it to be quite steep in several places.
Romero Ruins Trails
Catalina State ParkSpectacular views with information postings for humans throughout the walk.
The hike was not super strenuous and it was a short trail - however the initial steps to get to the top were a little steep
