Thankful this pleasant resort is so dog gone great about allowing dogs. We were turned off by KW prices ESPECIALLY w/ dog fees included. We were pleasantly surprised by how low-key pleasant Blackfin was. There were lots of little places to walk ShadowRae w/ o being anywhere NEAR the highway. Rooms were clean, spacious, internet worked...would have been worth staying a second night.

Our first stop was inspired by reviews here; THANK YOU! What a lovely start to a day that degenerated by having our dog in KeyWest w/ us. We like dogs better than most people said the staff and they proved it . By the time we left there were prob. 7 dogs amicably sharing the patio. Service was quick and pleasant , food was good tho $$ and atmosphere made us want to linger. After the 'zoo' of downtown KeyWest, wish now that we HAD!

Called ahead and was pur in touch w/ manager who asked if our dog was friendly in light of insurance issues. It was her assurance Shadow Rae was welcome that kept us fron having to tracel afar to have a nice birthday dinner on our way to the Keys. Loren, our server made a good restaurant great w/ his personable and efficient service. Though the patio is open to 'service dogs', when drizzle made it almost untenable 2 eat outdoors he assured us we could (also) come inside. Am sure that their repeat customers come back because they, like we and our dog, feel welcome.

Least impressive of 4 restaurants recommended on BringFido. Waitress forgot water 4 'passes'!?! Food was okay prices okay but a little spirited cust.service would have been nice!
