The Sheraton Bloomington Hotel was a fantastic find. It’s stylish, comfortable, and—best of all—welcomes dogs. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. They have a paved walking path around the property with a bag station, which is a big step up from the usual patch of grass. My dog, Kenobi, got a warm welcome from the front desk staff and several other guests. It was clear that pets aren’t just allowed here—they’re appreciated.
Our room was clean, fresh, and quiet, with no trace of pet odors. I also liked that all pet rooms are on the second floor, which makes it easier to avoid elevators. The “dog in room” tag they provide is a thoughtful addition. Dinner at the on-site restaurant was excellent, and breakfast was just right. I’m particular about coffee—it needs to be dark and strong—and theirs was exactly that. The bartender and restaurant manager were both gracious and welcoming. This will absolutely be our go-to hotel for future trips to Minneapolis. A great experience for both humans and dogs.

The front-desk employees were very friendly and helpful. I asked for a few cooking items and dishes, and the woman handed a large bin full of pans, dishes, and washing items. It even included dish soap. There is an area for dogs with bags and bin--always appreciated. It was quiet most of the time, and my dog was able to stay alone while I went to a convention to present a workshop. So nice! And the location is excellent for easy and fast trips to various stores, shops, coffee shops, and restaurants. There are plenty of nature trails nearby, too, which is super important for my dog and me. Thought about staying an extra night just because...

I had no issues with arriving, checking in, walking in and out, and checking out with my pitbull. The room is comfortable, but stank of cheap floor cleaner which is difficult for me due to fragrance allergies. I wish the room was not carpeted so no need for the vacuum powder. Everyone is very friendly and the second floor is reserved for dogs. The biggest issue is that dogs have urinated on the floor near the elevators and in the halls. It's so bad the odor hits hard as soon as the elevators open, and then my dog had to sniff each spot as we walked to our room. If they start cleaning the carpeting, it will be a five-bone hotel.
