My Favorite Beach!
Stewart Beach ParkThe cleanest beach in Galveston! I love coming to Stewart Beach! The parking is $15.00, but it lasts all day, so you can come and go the entire day with only one payment as long as you don’t lose your ticket! However, if you’re not a Texas resident be mindful that it is HOT in the summer & our sand gets H O T !! Please check that it’s not too hot for your pups to walk on, and potentially consider booties! I have severely burned my feet on the hot sand at Stewart before!

Great for Walks!
Houston Arboretum & Nature CenterThe arboretum was the perfect length walk, not too long but not too short! The trails are mostly shady so sunscreen is not a must, but I would recommend a good but spray! There is some poison ivy in certain areas of the trail so be careful to make sure your furry friend stays on the path! Parking was conveniently located for $5.00. Don’t forget to bring water for yourself and your pup! Additionally if you’ve got a new puppy you’re looking to socialize this is a great trail, there were lots of people of varying ages to expose your dog to!
