We have stayed at Majestic Mountain Inn 6 or 7 times now and have always had a wonderful experience until our last 2 stays. This stay, whoever was in charge of breakfast did not do a very good job. Both mornings we were here, the sausage, bacon, and eggs were cold - and we got there right when breakfast started. Also, their waffle maker and other appliances that go with it were either broken or not working well. Definitely time for them to invest into new appliances. Then, the last 2 times we have stayed here, the wifi either didn't work at all, or was spotty and kept kicking us out. If these two things were to get fixed, they would definitely be back up to a 5 bone rating.

We have no complaints about our stay at this hotel. The room was big and clean and even though it was right next to the interstate, we couldn't hear any road noise. The staff was very polite and accommodating. Plenty of grassy areas for potty and walks. We will stay here again!

The lobby and hallways smelled STRONGLY of curry. The toilet in the bathroom was super low to the ground and would shift like it was going to come off the wall. The water pressure in the shower was OK, but it did not stay hot/warm long. The wifi/I turned was super slow. And every time someone had to ring the doorbell for service, it echoed down the hall. There wasn't a great place to take our dog out either. Won't be staying here again.

After staying in a few hotels that cost less than this, this was a luxury. Everything was nice and clean, and the rooms are very spacious. There isn't really a great place to take you dog out (if your a woman on your own at least) but there are some big fields nearby. Breakfast was great as well. The only problem we had was that for some reason, the channels on the TV -- the sound and the video didn't match up and the video was doing this weird slowdown thing. We loved staying here with our dog and we would stay again!

The room was cozy and had everything we needed for a one night stay. The owners were great. Our heater/AC was having issues, and they brought us a space heater to make sure we stayed warm (it got down in the 20s that night). Great grassy areas for our dog to do his business. Only complaint is that our shower had practically zero water pressure, so even with the warmer/hot water, it was pretty cold in that bathroom. Great room for the price and I can definitely see us staying here again when we come through Shamrock.

The major downfall for this hotel is that it's RIGHT next to the interstate. If you have a room that's further in the back, you probably would be fine, but our room was right it front and the road noise was deafening. Also, our room's fridge was super loud, as well as the bathroom fan. But, for the price, it's a good hotel. Clean and plenty of places for our dog to go to the bathroom. I just recommend requesting a room towards the back.

The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. And even though they aren't serving breakfast buffet style right now, they still provide a to go bag breakfast for free.

First, our non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke and then they had no hot water in the showers! Oh, and most of the time, the room keys didn't work. Never staying here again.
