My favorite place to go!
Columbus County ParkSeriously this trail has it all! You can hit the river or just walk alongside it and they have picnic areas all around. I also love the sledding hill to run up or down to get exercise in.

Great for trails
Stony Creek MetroparkAs many people have stated it's not the place to go for beachs and swimming however there are really nice trails for walking and also if you're biking with your dog. There are a few spots to go kayaking as well. It's generally a great place to just spend the day walking around and getting some fresh air.

Cute but crowded
Algonac State ParkThere's a pretty sidewalk trail to walk alongside the water but getting near the water can be limited. If you want to offleash your pup's and try to get some beach time in, it's not a great place and next to a road. If you're looking to just walk and get near the water it's a good spot. Lots of people though, I went on a Thursday and it was slammed.

Cute when it's empty
Ruedisale Pointe ParkMy pup just likes to sit in the water sometimes but there's not much walking room. Good little spot to just eat lunch and wade in the water.
