Charming location, great waitress
Farmhouse TacosTacos varied widely. Farmhouse fish taco was delicious and two of them would make a whole meal. The same couldn’t be said for the pork and verde chicken tacos. The brisket taco was on the small side but tasty. Black beans were bland, but the pico served with them perked them up quite a bit. Dogs have a shady terrace back away from the road, but the music is pretty loud. All in all a pleasant lunch but not really worth a special trip if you aren’t already in TR. That said, its location is very pleasant and Travelers Rest is a cute town to visit, and near a lot of outdoor activities
Location good, cute town
Elora Brewing CompanyService was horrible and food wasn’t very good. Probably a place best visited for their beers
Friendly and pleasant atmosphere
Wintzell's Oyster HouseThe terrace has umbrellas, and despite the heat, it was a nice place for dinner. The little man was brought water with ice. We enjoyed delicious fresh grilled fish (him) and AWESOME fish tacos (her). They were busy so when our waitress was called away and someone else pitched in, there was a small service hiccup, but it was still an awesome evening and we would highly recommend Wintzells to friends with friendly pets
Clean quiet rooms
Comfort Inn Greenville I-65We were a little disappointed it’s not possible to have a king room if you are traveling with a pet. Also, the room was carpeted, which isn’t our personal preference in hotels. However, the hotel was pleasant and clean, and conveniently close to a good place with oysters and seafood, that has a dog-friendly patio. We would stay here again, if in Greenville.
Large fenced patio area! Good food!
Rikenjaks Brewing CompanyWe were headed home to Houston and popped off I-10 for lunch after seeing this business on BringFido.com. Enjoyed some cold drinks (water for Little Man) and a delicious lunch of (shared)fried mushrooms, grilled chicken salad , and a BBLT sandwich. The food was very good, the service was friendly and attentive and a good time was had by all. FANS on the shady terrace were appreciated on this hot day! Thank you!
No. Bad dog
Quality Inn Gulfport I-10Rooms weren’t cleaned until a bit after 4 PM. Man at the front desk was quite pleasant, and from then, it went downhill. Television didn’t work... room was tiny and disgusting. I’ve enclosed photos to show just how bad it was. The photos the hotel posted must be at least ten years old. This property is becoming dilapidated. We’ve stayed before at the nearby Home2Suites, and will if given a choice in future; both are dog friendly and the other property is far better. We won’t be back.
Awesome place!
Shrimp BasketThey would’ve gotten a 5 if they’d just had a better Ale!
The food was excellent, the server, Caitlin (sp?) was fantastic, and the dog and his humans were happy and treated very well.
We had the low country boil for two, and the portion was more than generous; we couldn’t finish it.
We will definitely return if we are in the area again. I cannot recommend it highly enough as a pleasant, dog-friendly restaurant and terrace.
We had a blast!
Go Galveston Scavenger HuntHubby, Little Man and I booked a cottage for Mardi Gras (sorry for the late review). Although the Little Man couldn’t go up to the areas where the bands were playing, we had a ball exploring Galveston with the Scavenger Hunt. Fun was had by all.
Still awesome
Mojo'sWhen the virus hit, we had to give up our Friday lunch dates on the terrace. The little man was very disappointed. However, we were delighted to be able to continue to get takeaway. They are open for (distanced) business now, so give them a Visit!
Peace of Mind and Happy Furbaby!
Pet Pals of AtascocitaHubby and I had to travel on family business. We were taking the dog, but needed the cat to stay home. I really didn’t want to board him, especially given the virus concerns at the time. Tracy came for a pre-service meeting, took detailed notes and asked questions to help me make sure I didn’t forget anything important. We were gone a pretty long time, but on our return, we found a happy cat, a clean home and healthy plants, as well. Tracy had taken notes of each visit, as well, so I had a sort of diary for my guy. Next time we travel, I’m definitely calling Pet Pals. It was so much less stressful for all of us than boarding, and a superior value for the dollar.
Clean, as expected
Home2 Suites by Hilton Gulfport I-10Room was clean, in fact the sofa and carpet were still damp from being cleaned.
Dampness was off-putting but it was clean and fresh with no bad odors.
Check in and out were easy and quick.
I’d stay again if I’m in the area
