This place has great food, an amazing menu of beers (50 on tap) and welcome our dog inside. It was a stormy night so we worried about being able to find a good place where we could bring our dog inside. Not a problem here. I highly recommend and we’ll come back as we drive cross country twice a year.

No grassy place for walking dogs and no poop bags. Park across the street does not allow pets and doesn’t have poop bags either. Try somewhere else.

We came here while driving on I-80. Came to Skeeter Barnes because it was listed here on Bring Fido. We were able to sit outside on an otherwise empty patio with our dog. I had the pulled pork and my husband had the St. Louis ribs. Both were excellent! The sauce is very good. The garlic mashed potatoes were also very good, though we were both underwhelmed by the macaroni and cheese and cole slaw. The Skeeter Barnes wheat ale was delicious. I recommend this place and we may come back if coming through this way again. Kodi gives it a paws up as he was offered a bowl of water.
