We got on a 3 person canoe and our dog loved it! She swam in the lake almost the whole 2 hours we were there. Staff were very helpful. They pick you up with a shuttle but and you get free ice cream.

Every store and activity we wanted to visit let us with our pup, even the mirror maze, which we decided not to do because Daisy was very confused by it. Make sure you get shoes for the dog. People love talking about them (helps with dog socialization) and the doggies paws are protected.

Our dog slept for most of the ride, since we took a long walk before that, but she still looked for very intrigued by some of the animals. We saw a bear, coyotes and a deer.

Daisy loved spending this time with us. We got a great picture and I don’t know where else she would even be able to do that. Staff was friendly and patient with waiting for me to pick up my dog.

I was a little sad that dogs are completely forbidden from almost every trail in the Smokey. While this trail is basically just a walk in a flat forest, my dog really enjoyed the water and was happy to dip in it a couple of times.

While it was beautiful and everyone was super friendly (I think only 1 store that served food did not allow dogs), it is a little hard to navigate through everything. We went pretty early and there were some closed stores.

Finding the statue is easy and great. We were lucky to go at a day where the locals were meeting with the police and fire station. The mood was great and everyone was super friendly.
