Dog lovers making Excellent human food
Flatiron Kitchen + TaphouseVery dog friendly location serving yummy, fresh food. Nice shaded tables outside, and if your dog is exceptionally well behaved, he/she might get invited inside! Dogs get treated like family. Definitely check it out for a good meal if you’re bringing your furry family member!
Ocracoke Island is dog friendly
Ocracoke CampgroundWe took the ferry from OBX to Ocracoke with pooch in tow. He loved the ferry ride and the wind in his hair. We rented a golf cart on the island, and he navigated from the front seat :) Some places don't allow dogs indoors, however they are always welcome at the outdoor patios (almost every place has an outdoor patio). The island is also walkable if you have a younger pet.
Great location on the beach and VERY dog friendly
Comfort Inn on the OceanWe had a fun stay with our pooch to celebrate my husband's bday. We had to reschedule once due to the hurricane, and the assistant GM, Darrlyn, was very accommodating to get our visit rebooked. I let her know of his upcoming bday, and she went out of her way to put balloons and even a bday card from the staff in the room so when he opened the door it was decorated. There were even some dog treats! Doggie poo bags are conveniently located on the pathway to the beach and pet friendly rooms are on the first floor so it's easy for them to step outside the door for a bio break. We will definitely stay there again.
Great location and pet centric
Kimpton Brice Hotel an IHG HotelThe rooms are nicely appointed and they are some of the best pet rooms we’ve ever stayed in. The only drawback was the room we stayed in was near the major road and was noisy at all hours.
