Great Spot... Just Not During Dining Hours

This was our first trip to LP with the pup, so we decided to stay somewhere different that would allow for easy access to green space. The Crowne Plaza did not disappoint in green space. Gorgeous, quiet property, up on the hill away from Main Street but close enough to walk. We had a first level room that made taking the pup to bathroom very convenient.

One afternoon we were enjoying the scenery out on the beautiful outside patio in the front of the hotel, (see picture below) when we were asked to leave because the dog was not allowed on the patio during dining hours. Might I add it was a Wednesday, so not like it was the weekend or busy. There was only one other group of people. The person that asked us to move said we could go around to the side patio overlooking the parking lot lot if we wished. We were extremely disappointed. Especially given that so many of the restaurants in LP are dog friendly and allow them on the patio, yet the hotel that claimed to be, that we were paying a hefty price for was not.
