Travel with my 2 Australian Shepherds. Always looking for places where I can get great unique photos of them.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. And the grass potty area was nice and well lit (unfortunately owners weren’t all considerate about cleaning up after their dogs). The biggest issue is that it is in an area that was very noisy. Between the door from the elevator area to the outside banging many times and the sirens from police, fire trucks and ambulances it was a challenge to get a good night’s sleep.

Good location (IHOP right next door and several restaurants as well as Walmart and Sam’s across the highway.) Easy to find. Plenty of grassy areas for pottying the dogs. Staff was excellent.

I was not expecting this to be right in the downtown area but it was. It is on a one-way street so it was a little tricky to get to (we saw the upstairs part on one street and had to go around the block to get to the lobby and parking area). The room was clean but the hotel is older and it shows. Dogs are not allowed on the elevator (it is a large hotel and only one elevator) so if you or your dog have issues with stairs, I suggest you book elsewhere. There is no potty area for the dog but was just a block off the riverfront park so that is where you can walk your dog.

This is an small older motel in an area away from the main highways. While the room wasn’t modern, it was updated and clean. Staff was very friendly and there is a beautiful garden area at the back of the building where the dogs can potty. The potty area was clean, well kept, and my dogs were happy to have grass under their feet. In the morning, the continental breakfast had a good variety of things to choose from.
