Love traveling with my dog Charlie Girl. However not all places are dog friendly. Looking for adventures that we can take our precious girl with us.

Beautiful dog park
Sedona Dog ParkWe are staying in Cottonwood but another dog human suggested this park to us so we took a drive up. It is a beautiful dog park that has shaded areas with astro turf as well as a big area for dogs to romp. Lots of human seating and spectacular views. Some owners are not picking up after their dogs so watch where you walk. My girl had a great time.
Rangers loved our girl
Montezuma Well at Montezuma Castle National MonumentI loved how we were greeted and the rangers pet our girl, that made her so happy. We had a nice hike around and took lots of pictures. When you get to the river don’t let your dog near the water, it has arsenic in it. We had to hold our girl back as she loves the water.
Steep walk but really good
Tuzigoot National MonumentThe paths are steep but the history is really cool. We had to stop a couple times as my dog has arthritis plus she got pets from other hoomans which she loved. Wonderful place, it’s really big compared to Montezuma.
Nice walk with our dog
Montezuma Castle National MonumentWe were looking for dog friendly activities and decided to check out this national monument, so glad we did. Lots of dogs to say hello to. Definitely bring water and a bowl, even in February it can get really warm. Very interesting place.
Dog friendly patio
Bing's Burger StationWe only eat out once in awhile and must have a patio for our dog. My husband waited on the patio with her while I went inside to order. The cashier said just a minute she was making my dog a pup cup! I didn’t get to see but everything out on the patio was watching her. Kudos for being so wonderful to fur babies. The burgers were delicious but the fries and onion rings were really greasy and inedible. I would go back but not order anything deep fried.
Beautiful spot for lunch
Outriggers Bar & GrillVisiting friends in the area and decided to check Outriggers out. We have a dog and never go anywhere without here so this place with all patio seating was perfect. Ordered appetizers not on menu, mango, habanero bites and both the guys got burgers and the girls got the fried haddock baskets. All the food was good but I think I liked my hubbys burger better than the fish. It was overcast today but being right on the water was very nice. I brought my dogs bed with us and a blanket as she is old and gets chilly. Everyone was so nice, service was outstanding. I hope we can get one more lunch in before we leave.
Dogs aren’t allowed in the lake
Lake Louisa State ParkThere are lots of trails but I sprained my ankle and walking was quite difficult. I was hoping my dog could get a swim in but she wasn’t even allowed on the beach let alone the water. Still looking for a place to take her so she can swim.
