I've grown up with dogs my whole life! I love the outdoors and I take my border collie- golden retriever mix everywhere with me

Nice spot
Rendezvous ParkI was just in town for a wintry weekend and was looking for a fun and easy spot right outside the city. I would love to go back their the summer! keep your dog on leash
Fun Wintry Trail
Sink or Swim TrailCuts across the face of the Snow King and winds through the trees. Access to a great network of trails! The snow was packed down from plenty of use but I only crossed a few other people
Great winter spot!
Hagen Highway TrailWhile visiting for the weekend a local friend introduced this trail system to me. A little tricky to find the trailhead and where to park but it was great! put the Yak Tracks on and hiked on the switch back trails through the forest. Only a few other hikers on the weekday. I assume in the summer it’s busy with mountain bikers
Great spot!
Heughs Canyon Trailthere are a couple different parking area which was a little tricky to find. I went up here in the winter with my Yak- Trax (icy) and the doggo had a great time! beautiful views and off the beaten path of most popular trails. I almost didn’t review because I don’t want other to know about it haha
New Park
Dog Park at Pioneer ParkFor the last couple of years, I would have said no way, "No way is anyone safe at pioneer park." They've done a lot for the area! New lights, walkways, trash bins and parking. Give it another try if you happen to be in the downtown area
Trails And More Trails
Cache Creek TrailThis is a great place to bring the pup and it’s just 8 minutes from downtown! came here in the winter. easy parking, beautiful views and the trail was packed down to just wear my Yak-Trax instead of snow shoes. I started at the Putt Putt trail head
Perfect for you and your doggo
Cowboy Village ResortIt's so hard to find great locations that allow dogs. This tops them! Doggie clean up stations, no extra fees and totally walkable. Close to the the Cache Creek Trail System
