My two small dogs love the hiking trails out here! They really love the arboretum that's at the back of the property at the end of the trails as well. So much fetching space :)

I don't have any experience in the large dog section or the ponds, but the small dog area is A+! There are always quite a few pups when I visit and the owners are responsible in maintaining the park (picking up poop). I would definitely recommend over the Raising Cane's park for small dogs.

This is not a small dog friendly park. It is also not all that well maintained, I've seen many fights, rude owners who don't pick up after their dogs, and even some owners who drop their dogs off and leave! It is quite close to my house and convenient to LSU and may be just fine for larger breeds.
