Great Experience and Food
Mona's Burgers & ShakesStopped in for lunch with our dog and really enjoyed our time here. The covered artificial grass space was great for our dog (though there also is a concrete area too). The staff were super friendly, and we had a great meal.
Friendly spot with great food
Cafe MWent here for brunch with our Labrador retriever. It was a drizzly morning, but they were super kind and set us up at a table under their awning so we were able to keep dry. They brought a bowl of water and were super nice. The food was fantastic as well.
You can sit at a table outside
Cheese Board PizzaPets aren't allowed inside, so you'll need another person (or be comfortable with leaving your dog outside while you go in to buy food - there is no table service). The seating area is workable - they're cool with bringing your dog to sit outside, but that's pretty much where its going to stop. The pizzas and salads are great, though!
Peaceful spot out back
The Butcher’s SonThe food is really unique and good here. If you have someone else with you (so one person can go in to order) - or if you're okay tying your dog up outside while you order then it can work well. There is seating out back in a peaceful courtyard that is (at least in my opinion) a nicer spot than the street-side seating options.
Friendly staff and excellent wine
Fulcrum WinesThe staff at Fulcrum welcomed our Labrador retriever into the tasting room and sat us at one of the corner tables where we had plenty of space (as it turns out, another puppy was in the tasting room that morning too). Everyone there was super friendly and excited to meet her. To top is all off, the wine is fantastic!
Friendly dogs and people
Larson Family WineryWe had a great time taking our girl with us to Larson. The staff were friendly (offered a big biscuit), and our dog loved hanging out with the Larson dogs.
Great atmosphere, food, and beer
Cornerstone BreweryWe had a nice dinner here with our dog out on the back porch. She had plenty of room to lay under the table, and we enjoyed our meal very much. You do need to walk your dog through the main dining area to get to the patio since there isn't another way to get there. 4/5 versus 5/5 stars because ordering is from the bar (so you probably need at least 2 people - one to stay with the dog and one to order - though maybe not), and you'll want to bring your own bowl and water if that's something you'll want to have for your dog. Certainly no problems, though, and it made for a great evening.
Nice spot for a drink and good food
Westbrae BiergartenTook our dog here for drinks and dinner in the evening. The place is very easy to access as everything is outside and you order from a central location. Only reason for 4/5 versus 5/5 stars is that seating can be dense, so depending on what is available, space for your dog might be easy and no problem at all or a little more challenging to keep them out of the foot traffic.
Beautiful spot to watch the sunset
The TridentWe had dinner for 4 plus our dog here. The staff at the restaurant were great. The restaurant has a special marked pet access door to get to the deck, and that made it very easy for us to get to our table. Our dog had plenty of space, and the staff was very attentive with water for her and some head scratches. Altogether, we had a great experience!
Enjoyable lunch outdoors with our dog
Blue Mountain BreweryDogs are welcome in a relatively large seating area on the lawn at the brewery (picnic tables and metal tables / chairs for humans). As others have pointed out, they have some strongly worded policies that are a result of local ordinances / some legal action from years ago. While that might sound off-putting to some, we have found them to be very welcoming to dogs (we've been there when there were easily 15-20 dogs hanging out with their owners). I guess because of circumstances, they were put in a position where they needed to set up strong policies, but the reality seems to be that if your dog generally does pretty well at these sorts of establishments, you're not going to run into any issues / you'll easily be able to have a relaxed time hanging out with your dog.
Great Staff, Food, and Location
Junction 35 SpiritsThe staff were super welcoming to our Yellow Lab, and we were welcome to dine inside with her under our table. They brought some water and treats, and altogether, it was really great to find a restaurant with great food that would let us bring our dog inside too.
Lots of space to enjoy
Albemarle CiderWorksBrought our dog for the afternoon and had a great time. The tables are really nicely spaced out, and the staff members were very friendly. They offered a bowl of water, which was great.
Friendly staff and plenty of space
Blenheim VineyardsExcellent location for dogs. The staff have always been super friendly to our dog, and most of the time there are at least a couple other dogs there too. They have poop bags and a spigot for filling water bowls. The lawn seating (in particular) provides some great space to enjoy the outdoors with your dog.
Treats for dogs
Atlas CoffeeNice spot with good outdoor seating that is dog friendly - somewhat busy with nearby street and other businesses, but great coffee and food. They offer treats for dogs.
