Unexpected gem in Taos
Sagebrush Inn & SuitesWe booked a room pretty last minute and didn't find out until after we checked in that the Sagebrush Inn is full of history! Pretty dog-friendly grounds and the room (with a fireplace) was well cared for and had good character. We booked a king bed and definitely didn't get one, but maybe we got the fireplace instead. Had breakfast at the restaurant (no dogs allowed) and portions were American sized but not more than we could eat. Good value, beautiful place to catch a sunset.
Great find!
Old West RV ParkWe were very impressed with the cabin, having just previously stayed in a much more bare bones one in Santa Fe. This place was comfortable, had a heat/AC unit, provided towels, a fridge & microwave. Cute small dog run area. Helpful staff. Give them your business if you're in the area!
Fast service, great spot for breakfast
Gloria's Corner CafeGood food, great service. They offered us water for the dog immediately and we saw several other guests with their pups on the patio. Recommend it!

High Desert Cafe at the MysticGood food, good service, good atmosphere!
Nope.
Triangle Park Off-Leash AreaIt was never officially an off leash park. A month or so ago they fenced in a small section of it to make a dog run. It's fine if you live nearby but not worth going out of your way to visit.
Good food, great hospitality
RootHard to find a dog friendly spot on a rainy day in Newport, and ROOT came to the rescue! Delicious food, very welcoming.
