This is a well groomed trail that is easy to follow. The views are spectacular.
While the main trail may be challenging for some dogs, if you do the assent from the trail exit it is an easier climb without the scrambling.

We have been bringing our dog here since he was a pup. It is a relaxing walk with great views.

We had a great walk today. the trails were a little confusing, but NYNJTC.ORG has a great descriptive guide. The total walk was 3 miles and there were falls for our dog to cool off in. The views of the Hudson were excellent as you walk along the ridge.

There are many trails from the park that take you to the top of the mountain and Perkins Memorial Tower. Up there there are great views all around.

We live nearby and walk this trail all the time. it is a paved path, so it is good for older dogs as well.

great outdoor seating area. Waitress even brought our dog a bowl of water.
