The do not accept dogs
Bonefish Grillwe came so we could eat with our dog since we were running around town. they no longer accept dogs
Good stop on road trip
Rotolo'sNice little restaurant only half mile of the highway, Good sized, fenced patio, super friendly waitress! Pizza was great! We had brought water dish for our dog, but the young lady was helpful with a little dish since out picky dog hadn’t finished her breakfast, yet!
Good for the money
Lone Star InnThis is an older hotel, has had some upgrades done. But it was clean and what we needed for a one night stop. Pool was still closed and lobby closed, everything was done through the night clerk’s window, so no breakfast or even coffee. But, for the price, we could buy our own. The only reason the hotel is getting a 4 instead of 5: knowing we had a dog, we were placed in a room at the bottom of staircase. Kept the dog on edge all night. It would have been nice to be in a less busy area. As for the surrounding town, it is a working class area so not pretty, but we didn’t see or hear anything that made us feel in danger. On the city sidewalks, there was some broken glass, be careful where you walk your dog.
Nice place
On the Border Mexican Grill & CantinaWe wanted a place to meet an old college friend to sit and visit. The patio was large and enclosed with shades to block late afternoon sun. That along with fans kept it comfortable despite the 90+ degrees outside. Waitress brought a big dish of cold water for Fido, Food was good, tex-mex. Since our dog is small enough to be carried, we were able to slip in the door and around into the patio. For larger dogs, they have an outside door to the patio someone will come and unlock to let you on. We we’re definitely happy with our experience.
Not covered seating
Back Yard BurgersWe arrived during a rain shower expecting the covered patio as shown above. There were 2 concrete tables set out without even an umbrella. so, since it was raining, we didn’t stop. Can’t say how the food was, just wanted to warn the next folks about the patio situation.
