This hotel is in a great location and within a walkable distance of many restaurants and things to do. The staff was amazing. One example is that I asked if there was a specific location to take our pup potty and she looked at me funny and was surprised that I would ask, as they can go anywhere convenient with grass! We highly recommend!

We stayed at the Hutchinson Resort last weekend with our pup, and loved it! It is EXTREMELY pet friendly! The restaurant has a large outdoor covered area that was comfortable on a 90 degree day for a late lunch and I've never experienced a hotel that allowed dogs on the pool deck before! It was too hot when we were there, but it is a wonderful option if the weather is right! The beach is also pet friendly, it's really a great place. The website says they welcome two pets under 30 pounds, but there were many dogs there that were well over 30 pounds (including 2 very sweet pit bulls and a gigantic Goldendoodle). You may want to check before you show up with a big dog, but it seemed pretty clear that they were super welcoming of all dogs! It was pricey but worth it. Highly recommend!

This was our first time to St Simon's Island and we found Hotel Simone on BringFido thanks to those who came before us and did reviews! We loved it. The price was very reasonable for a suite with modern, clean, and well-appointed amenities. It is very pet friendly and the included hot breakfast was very good! They also do an evening happy hour. The beach is an easy walk and there are many pet-friendly restaurants nearby, including a fantastic pet-friendly brewery right next door that has fantastic food! We highly recommend and will be back!

We booked the Embassy Suites for a one-night layover in Greenville based on the BringFido reviews. The staff that was there when we checked in were not particularly happy that we had our dog with us (did not deny our reservation. just not friendly or welcoming). The room was fine and the happy hour was nice, but overall, although our 35 lb Blue Heeler was invited to be there with our $75 one-night fee, I wouldn't call the experience welcome or friendly.

The other guests with rare exception clearly were non-plussed to have a dog in their midst. We are always sensitive to the fact that not everyone is a dog person, and I would say at this hotel, most of the people we encountered were not dog people. They did do a decent job at having a potty area with poop bags handy, but no garbage cans in the area which was weird. It was a rainy evening so no good options to sit outside with our dog for dinner so we ordered carryout from the on-site Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for our room and it was an extremely overpriced average meal (didn't even give us salt/pepper or bread when we spent $160 on an app, a side, and an entree). We won't be back.

The service was wonderful and the cabins are nicely appointed. I didn't give them 5 bones since our cabin was dated and had a musty smell, but they mostly made up for that with attention to detail with nice linens, silverware, glasses, etc. These cabins would be amazing if they did a bit of updating and maybe added a fire pit or corn hole (something to do) outside.

We were in the area and stopped in for a late breakfast (no reviews yet on BF so thought we'd take a chance). The food wasn't good and it was very expensive. It's coffee shop style so you place your order at a counter and they bring it out to you but the prices are what you would expect in a sit down restaurant. My husband had the crepes which were dense and not very good, and I had an egg sandwich on a baguette and it was terrible. The eggs were scrambled and were overcooked and dry. They forgot to put cheese on my breakfast sandwich and instead of making it fresh, they put a slab of cheese on top of already overcooked eggs and put it under the broiler (or in the microwave, who knows). They didn't acknowledge our dog or bring her water although we were allowed to sit outside with her. Anyway, it was busy so I suspect the coffee was good, but we won't be back.

We stopped in for lunch and had greqt food with great service right on the river. Very dog friendly, highly recommend!

My husband, dog Callie and I were in the path of Hurricane Milton and decided to evacuate to Columbus, GA. The original hotel I reached out to was sold out, so I asked them if they were aware of any other pet-friendly hotels close by and they told us about City Mills. It is a refurbished old mill and has tremendous charm, with gorgeous exposed brick in our room and is very pet friendly! Our room was very cozy but spacious with a dog bed already in it, a bowl, and a sack of treats! There is plenty of room to take your pup potty close to the doors outside, and they are next to a gorgeous river with a paved walking path that goes for miles.

There are tons of great restaurants within a short drive or a vigorous walk. The only thing we didn't love was the restaurant on property - the menu was limited and it was really pricey so we opted for another local dining option, which were plentiful. Nothing against the restaurant as it may be wonderful, it just didn't suit our needs at the time. Side note, our drive in was late at night and when we entered the Columbus area it was a bit sketchy and I was a little skeptical at first, but the hotel is in a safe spot and once we were there and the sun rose the next day, I had no further reservations about this choice.

This place could be wonderful but I do not know as I haven't been there. My review is only based on the fact that they are no longer pet friendly. I called today (March 2024) to make a reservation and was told they recently changed the policy to service dogs only. Bummer!

We were looking for a place to go to lunch with our dog Callie and decided to try Riviera Dunes. We are so glad we did! The food was great, the service was great, and the deck provided a lot of space to relax right next to the water. Highly recommend!

We were excited to try Tommy Bahamas with our Blue Heeler but it did not live up to our expectations. The service was great, the location is great, the set up for dogs is great, the chicken is terrible. My husband had a jerk chicken sandwich and I had the poblano chicken quesadilla. The menu did not disclose that they use chicken thighs in both dishes and the meat was rubbery and gross (especially when you are expecting chicken breast). We did have the aspagus fries for an app and they were really good. If you go, I would recommend getting something other than chicken. I'm giving them 3 bones since the service and dog-friendliness made up for the chicken a bit, but we won't be back.

We live in Palmetto and were looking for somewhere new to go to lunch with our Blue Heeler Callie, and decided to give Remy's a try. I think we found our new favorite place! We have been to a lot of wonderful dog-friendly restaurants thanks to BringFido, but Remy's tops our list of most pet-friendly and all around fantastic! The food was fresh and delicious, the service was the best, and we couldn't have felt more welcome with our pup. I can't wait to go back!

My husband, dog Callie, and I were looking for somewhere to go for a quick breakfast and found Bouy's on BringFido. The view is beautiful (overlooking the water), the food was good and the service was great. They brought Callie a great big bowl of cold ice water as soon as we sat down and there was plenty of room on the upper patio to be comfortable and not feel crowded with our pup. As an added bonus, there were 15 dogs having a beach party (with their humans) across the water on the opposite beach, and it was fun watching them run and play in the water. Our waitress said that was a common site. The only thing I didn't like was the sausage with my breakfast (it was weird and I didn't eat it) and the potatoes were a little undercooked, but the eggs and toast were great. I'll just get bacon next time and ask for my potatoes well done! I'm still giving it a 5 due to the view, comfort, and service.

We stumbled across Finn's after finding the restaurant we had intended to go to was closed, and we are so glad we did! They are very pet friendly, the staff was great, the live music was great (and not too loud), the food was very good and the view was outstanding! We highly recommend Finn's and will be back.

We came to downtown St Pete with our Blue Heeler Callie with the intent on having lunch at Doc Fords, but there was a 1 1/2 hour wait so we went to BringFido.com for another suggestion. After reading the reviews for Fresco's we decided to give it a try. It was very busy but they got us a table right away by the water. They brought Callie a bowl of ice water and gave her tons of love! I had the Fresco bowl which was amazing and my husband loved their burger. Parking tip - there is a lot of parking available down the pier and even at it's farthest point, it's a nice 5 - 10 minute walk along the water to get back to Fresco's. Great place, highly recommend - we will definitely be back!

Stopped here for lunch yesterday with our Blue Heeler Callie. The outdoor patio is well-shaded with fans and even on a hot day is comfortable. They brought Callie water right away and made her feel very welcome. The service is great and the food is amazing. My husband had the filet sandwich on the specials menu and he said it was one of the best sandwiches he's ever had (and he's picky). I had the mediterranean salad with blackened shrimp added and it was excellent, the shrimp could not have been fresher. I can't wait to go again!

We stopped in for lunch this past weekend (late November) and I asked if they could accommodate us with our Blue Heeler Callie while my husband and Callie waited in the car. I appreciate the honesty of the gentleman who greeted us as he showed me where they would seat us. It was a tiny blocked in area on the back deck where he warned me people came out to smoke and we had to poke our heads through the adjacent door to let the bartender know if we needed something as they didn't service the area fully. It was a nice day, just a bit chilly (around 60 degrees). My 2 star review is due to the accommodations alone as we didn't stay and have the food. They received 2 stars because the gentleman who greeted me was honest and didn't waste our time, but we won't be back.

We were visiting Sapphire last weekend and stumbled upon The Fix restaurant and are so happy we did! They have a laid back comfortable vibe, excellent service, and excellent food! My husband and I both had burgers and they were amazing. They were very welcoming of our Blue Heeler Callie. If you are in the area, you are missing out if you don't go to The Fix!

The DoubleTree staff was very nice and welcoming of our dog Callie when we stayed there this past Thanksgiving night while visiting family. Although not fancy, the rooms were clean and the amenities were good. It's a good place to stop if you are passing through and need a comfortable place to stay with your dog.

We highly recommend the Brook Trout Inn! My husband and I stayed there this past weekend with our Blue Heeler Callie and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed and the common kitchen with snacks, dishes (in our case we borrowed wine glasses) and breakfast fixings was fantastic! There are trails on the property and plenty of room for your dog to get out and about. There is a restaurant called "The Fix" a few minutes down the road that had one of the best burgers I've ever had (and their outdoor tables welcomed our dog). The staff is super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Brook Trout Inn!

Very dog friendly, the patio is shady and cool, the service and food were excellent. We will definitely be back!

We booked ocean front but got moved to ocean view (I am not sure why but I didn’t read the fine print of the reservation til several hours after booking and by then nothing could be done). The view overlooks the service entrance and is loud with the generators 10 feet under our balcony. The beach is convenient and very pet friendly so that’s great, but everything said and done with the pet fee this crappy room is costing us around $1600 off season for 2 nights. We won’t be back.

We decided to try this restaurant based on the 2 previous reviews and were not disappointed! They brought Callie ice cold water right away. It was a warm night and they had fans going which made it nice. The food and service were both excellent. We highly recommend!

We went to Rumrunners with great expectations while having a short vacation in Cape Coral. We made reservations and showed up with our dog Callie and were seated in a beautiful spot on the canal out back. Super happy at this point. And then the food started arriving and the flies swarmed. Ordered our dog a PLAIN chicken breast and it had hot pepper flakes on it (told waitress it was for our dog). Miserable experience. In order to get a few bites of his dinner in my husband joked that he’d leave the multiple flies alone who were sitting on his bread. Manager came out after I went inside to find our waitress to get our tab and told us sorry, nothing he could do about flies. Took the $8 off the bill for the chicken and told us to make reservations inside next time if we don’t want flies on our food. Dozens of flies, not a couple. Miserable experience if you have a dog, would highly suggest you go elsewhere. We paid a $70 bill for food we barely ate and now I am sitting in the Publix parking lot while my husband went inside to get us sandwiches because we left rumrunners hungry. Stay away!!

My husband and I were on Amelia Island with our Blue Heeler Callie this past weekend and I went to BringFido.com to find a place for dinner. We read the reviews and decided on Karibo Cafe. We loved it so much we came back the next day for Sunday brunch! The food was fabulous, but most importantly they treated Callie great! They were very welcoming, I highly recommend Karibo Cafe!
