My wife and I are traveling this summer with our 12 month old Golden Retriever puppy, Scoter! We live in Texas, but love to spend our summers on the coast of Maine !

The staff are the nicest and most accommodating folks, very welcoming, helpful and thoughtful! The rooms are great and even the bartenders were so friendly and fun! Check-in was such a breeze. The 2 lobbies are so attractive and inviting. The free continental breakfast was the only thing that was just adequate.

The front desk was super friendly and made us and our Golden Retriever feel very welcome. However, a very high dollar night yet you can’t leave your pup in the room unattended while you go eat. Fortunately we found a great restaurant a 15 minute walk away, “Hand Cut,” that was extremely receptive of our pup. The biggest issue of all was our boy needs a green space to do his business, and there is none within 6 or 7 blocks until you get to a little lawn park off Broadway! The hotel has a smelly 8x10 patch of artificial grass next to the garage driveway, but it wasn’t good enough for our picky pooper.

An awesome hotel if you’re traveling with pets. The hotel allows you to leave your pet in the room so you can go to dinner. The hotel was so clean and the staff were nice and helpful.

It was more than adequate for having a dog with us.
