Went on the evening of the 4th of July to watch the sunset with my pups. Other than the steps to get up/down from the beach needing some repair and trash left on the beach, it was a very nice evening. if only people weren’t so entitled to think someone else will clean up after them. As for my dogs, they loved the beach and water. Corgi had fun digging holes and Lab loved the swim. We will go back.

This little beach area was very nice and clean. A little busy due to the holiday weekend but everyone was good about their dogs and space. I only wish we could have left them off leash to run and swim a little.

With the directions provided we ended up just outside a gated community along Lake Michigan. If this was a place, it isn’t anymore. Ended up going to Hagar Beach along Lake Michigan instead. Very nice beach and dogs on leash are allowed.
