Such a great place for anytime of year. You can walk the loop and just hike or lay out on the beach and sit/enjoy some waves.

Great lil beach, cute little paw park leading up to this dog friendly oasis in Venice. Easy to get to and next to a great restaurant for finding those shark teeth!

Stopped for a quick night’s rest at a cheap place and that’s exactly what we got. I showered there but used my own towel, as theirs were dirty and hair-covered. It would have been 1 bone, but the delightful girl who checked us in saw me looking through their boneyard of old machines in a hallway (4 washers/2 dryers and 2 broken ice machines) and she brought a bag right to my room. The steps were so rusty that I was afraid to let my dog walk in them (flaking off and literally thought they’d cut him). Again, the two bones instead of one was from service. The coffee at the desk was delicious. The old room was very dirty (we did a bed bug check and while we didn’t see bed bugs, we saw enough other bugs and dirt/grime to not let me rest easily).
