There are so many walking paths in this park. I have been multiple times and haven’t went the exact same way yet! I love that some are paved and others are not, so up to you. It’s very shaded so on a hot day it’s a great place! It connects to Country Park as well, so very big area to explore!

we go to Oak Ridge regularly and love it! It has paved walking paths, trails, and a dog park. In the summer the paved walkway is hot as there is no shade with it, but the trails is all shaded. The dog park area is all dirt no grass but that isn’t the reason we go so not a big deal if too muddy to go in. There are two playgrounds, a pond, football/soccer, baseball fields, and restrooms.

We were a little skeptical about going after reading that people have seen alligators where the dogs swim. We kept our boy on a leash until we were comfortable and we did not see any on the afternoon of July 24, 2021 while we were there. We spent about an hour in the big dog area, it was a great group of dogs, no issues and all the owners were attentive. My boy had a great time and it was lots of fun to watch him play/swim in the water with the other dogs.

We went for lunch and sat outside, our server Mike was great. It was hot and he made sure our good boy had plenty of water the entire time. The food was good, I had the tuna tacos and hubby had fried shrimp.
